This is my first year teaching at Thackerville and I will be teaching 3^rd grade.

I began teaching in 2014 at Turner Public Schools teaching 8-12^th grade Family & Consumer Sciences.  I was also the Hot Shots & Little Dribblers Coach as well as the FCCLA Advisor.  I taught there for four years then I moved to Lone Grove Public Schools where I taught 9-12^th grade Family & Consumer Sciences and was the FCCLA Advisor for 3 years there.   Finally, I taught at Plainview Public Schools last year teaching 8-12^th grade Family & Consumer Sciences as well as the FCCLA Advisor.  Prior to teaching, I was the youth leader, childrens church leader as well as taught Sunday School in the church I attended growing up.  I have coached YMCA competitive baseball, basketball as well as assisted with football.  I also coached the Hot Shots team at Lone Grove Intermediate as well as the Hot Shots and Little Dribblers teams at Turner Elementary.  I previously worked at Cities in Schools as well as the Department of Human Services, Child Welfare Division. I have always loved being around kids and wanting to help mold them to become the best version of themselves as well as productive members of society.

I am a single Mom to my 18 year old son, Brayton Hamilton.  He is a Senior this year at Plainview High School.  He plays baseball for the Varsity team there as well as a member of the Plainview FCCLA chapter.  He also umps at the YMCA in Ardmore during the summer.  He loves playing baseball, working out, hanging out with his friends and going to the lake.

I am very family oriented and love hanging out with my family playing any type of games from board games to cornhole to wiffle ball.   I love to laugh and make those around me laugh.  My favorite thing to do is watch my son play baseball and hanging out at the lake with him during the summertime. We love to take out the boat to wakeboard, ski and tube.  We also go to the movies at least once or twice a month.  Most all of my free time revolves around my son and whatever he has going on at that moment.  I also love sports.  I played high school fast pitch softball, basketball, volleyball, and ran track at Plainview & Heritage Christian Schools. I also played college basketball at Murray State College.
